SUMMER CAMP

Ages 3-12

Day camp at PCC offer indoor and outdoor activities, plus opportunities for fun, friendships, and exploration. Our Programs group children by age and encourage their growing ability to make choices, work with others, and assume responsibilities. Our camp teachers work together to develop a fun and educational curriculum. They use both indoor and outdoor spaces and special visitors as an extension of the camp, helping children to discover science, explore nature, and engage in the creative arts, while learning about the vast opportunistic in the world around them.

Oceans

 The children will become oceanographers as they dive into the deep oceans and discover life under water.

Astronomy 

Explore planets and learn the fascinating planet Earth.

Camping

 The children will learn about the necessities of camping. We will sit around the campfire and tell ghost stories while roasting marshmallows.

Farming

Children will learn how things grow from seed to plant

Music around the world 

Children will explore music from around the world. They will travel to many countries while discovering music from different cultures. Children will be introduced to the guitar, keyboard, and many percussion instruments. They will also enjoy singing, creative movements, and reading music.

Culture week

 Our youngsters will take a trip around the world celebrating many important holidays in other cultures as well as many other traditions.

Health

We will learn the importance of good hygene as well as the part Doctors and other health providers play in our well being. Also, what makes up a good diet.

Cooking

Your children will learn their way around a kitchen while learning about how to eat healthy. The children will be helping prepare a healthy lunch every day for the entire school. 

Dinosaurs

Rock- What did dinosaurs eat? Where did dinosaur live? Children will learn about prehistoric times and will be able to answer these questions and much, much more. Our young paleontologists will conduct an archaeological dig on the playground to find and rebuild the dinosaur’s bones.

Zoo Week

We will learn aobut the different animals in the zoo, where they ocme from, what they eat and the difference between zoo life and life in the wild. 

Gardening

We will learn how to plant seeds, how to tend to and nurture them and what happens to them as they grow.
